Most writing assistants have one voice and use it on everyone. SprintText already holds a model of how you write, so a rewrite can come back in your register rather than a polite corporate average.

  • Rewrite

    Same meaning, better sentences. Useful on the message you typed in a hurry and are about to send to someone important.

  • Shorten

    Cut a rambling paragraph to its point without flattening the tone out of it.

  • Finish

    Trail off partway through a sentence and get a line or two that continues it in the same voice — not a full paragraph you did not ask for.

  • Reply from a note

    Turn a few fragments — “can’t make Tuesday, propose Thursday, apologise” — into a message you would actually send.

  • Fix up

    Grammar and punctuation on a draft, without the assistant rewriting your personality along the way.

  • Translate

    Move a message into another language while keeping the level of formality you chose.

Questions

About the AI layer.

Do I have to use the AI features?

No. SprintText Pro exists precisely because a lot of people want faster typing with no model in the loop at all. The AI actions are a separate switch and a separate plan, and everything else works without them.

Is my text used to train models?

No. As built, an AI action is handled by Apple’s on-device model and the text does not leave your device, so there is nothing to retain or train on. Were a hosted option ever added, text sent to it would be used to perform the action and return the result, and nothing else; the privacy policy sets out retention in detail.

What does “in your voice” actually mean?

The request carries style guidance derived from your Sprint Brain — the vocabulary and phrasing patterns it has learned — rather than a tone preset. It does not send your Brain, and it does not send your other messages.

What happens when I am offline?

Everything carries on exactly as before, and an on-device action does not need the network in the first place. Nothing queues up your text to send later.
